Dear friends,

In view of the ongoing militarization and a reorganisation of the US bases in Europe the no-bases movement in Europe is faced with many challenges.
In Germany are even located 60 US military facilities. These military bases are vital for the US warfare in the Middle East. Furthermore in Germany are located numerous NATO and EU military facilities where war will be planned, prepared and exercised.

On many places, where military facilities are existing, citizens are protesting against them. They are protesting against noise and environmental pollution, they are protesting for participation and civil rights and they are protesting against war.

Therefore we would like to invite activists for Europe for a participation to a

No-Bases Network meeting in Germany on 4th to 6th April 2008 at Naturfreundehaus Finsterbrunnertal near Kaiserslautern.

In this network meeting we will have an exchange of experiences furthermore we will continue our consultation how to build a European network.
